Oven Repairing in the UAE: Brand-by-Brand Common Faults

April 26, 20267 min read

After thousands of oven repairing jobs across the UAE, patterns emerge. Here's the brand-by-brand cheat sheet.

Bosch / Siemens / Neff: cooling-fan bearing failure at 5–7 years, causing overheating shutdowns. Fan replacement, AED 350–550. Also common: door hinge fatigue on built-in models.

Samsung: NTC sensor drift, causing 'won't reach temperature'. AED 220–320 sensor swap.

LG: fan-forced element cracking at 4–6 years in high-use UAE kitchens. Element swap, AED 300–420.

Whirlpool / KitchenAid: main relay failure on the PCB. Sometimes repairable at component level for AED 350; sometimes a full PCB at AED 600.

Ariston / Indesit / Hotpoint: thermostat drift and igniter failure on gas models. Both are cheap and quick to replace.

Ferre / Lagermania / Smeg: door seal degradation from long summer use — replace annually for best performance.

Whatever your brand, a proper oven repair visit ends with a written warranty and a full-heat test. If your technician skips either, you're not getting UAE-standard service.
